Hello Sea Turtle Hat lovers and backers. I have spent time working on the set up for BackerKit and the surveys will come to you soon. I am just polishing details to get it all right.
If you have a good SPAM filter be sure to allow BackerKit communications so I receive your address to send your hats. You will have the chance to buy more items but there is no requirement and you do not need to open any account with BackerKit, just fill in the short survey.
Here is my most important FAQ: When will Sea Turtle Hats be ready? The detailed answer is: I ordered hats June 23 and they received funds June 26. I was told 45 days for production. I estimate 10 days for shipping to US and we are at August 10. If everything is optimal I should receive hats by August 15 and ship them by August 21st. I expect backers to receive their rewards before the end of August. This is a realistic estimate if the production takes the time quoted. If this is not working out I will send updates from Kickstarter to explain. I want Sea Turtle Hats to reach backers during the summer! Wearing hats generates sales so I want these hats on your heads!
Thank you again everyone. I am so excited to be making this hat! I just spent a week traveling in my classic turtle hat with friends. They could not believe how it changed the experience. What fun.

Oh yes, here is a look at the prototype of Sand Dollar Hat. It will have dark shadows instead of white cut out areas and it will be on bone color not khaki. And we improved the pattern some. The sample is being made now.
